Investment in ultra-modern distribution centre

On 18.02.2008, work on the new logistics centre of WAGENER & SIMON WASI GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Wuppertal commended. For the medium term, WASI intends to invest around 20 million Euro in the new facility in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf. The construction project is the largest single investment of the Würth Group for the year 2008.

The logistic centre will be dominated by a building of 110 m in length and 30 m in height, housing a fully automated high-bay warehouse for 10,300 pallets, a smaller automated small parts store with more than 100,000 compartments and an order picking warehouse.
