When Emil Wagener and Werner Simon established WASI in 1961, they wrote the first chapter of a Wuppertal success story.

Wasi's Wuppertal location proved to be perfect from the get-go. During the Wilhelminian period, Wuppertal’s proximity to the ironmongery and metal processing as well as the wire drawing industry was ideal. Today, WASI maintains excellent relations with the world’s leading stainless steel manufacturers.

WASI owns a global business with regard to its suppliers, partners, and customers. Operating autonomous subsidiaries in eleven different countries, WASI is trying to stay close to its customers around the world.

The first stainless steel connector elements were known as WASI A2 and WASI A4.  Since then, the product range has grown to include tens of thousands of articles - of which 24,000 are always in stock and available for immediate delivery. In addition, we have more than 20,000 additional articles listed and can provide you with anything made of stainless steel and intended to hold the world together.

However, WASI is more than just the supplier of the market's broadest and deepest product range.  WASI is also the global market leader when it comes to rust-proof connector elements - available in grades A1 to A5 and in all strength classes.

And that's not all: WASI is also known for developing and patenting innovative products designed to make connections easier and more secure.

We want every customer to receive the goods they have ordered as fast as possible. To WASI, this means: all shipments within Germany and its neighbouring countries usually reach our customers within 24 hours. This is guaranteed, for example, by our state-of-the-art, automatic high-bay warehouse. WASI is currently expanding its logistics to be able to offer shortly our expedient shipping to customers from other continents.
